YouTuber Sagar Thakur has claimed in his FIR against social media influencer and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav that the latter tried to break his spine and make him disabled
Sagar Thakur, who goes by the name ‘Maxtern’, said that Elvish Yadav punched him in the face and even hit him on his spine with a mobile phone. He also claimed that the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner gave him multiple death threats both on and off camera.
The YouTuber further alleged that the FIR was lodged under bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) despite clear evidence of an “attempt to murder”. India Today got access to the FIR registered in the case, in which Sagar Thakur called for “immediate legal action” against Elvish Yadav.
He alleged that Elvish Yadav fan pages had been spreading hate and propaganda for a few months, which made him distressed and for which he sought counseling from an NGO.
Thakur also took to X to post a fresh video in which he alleged that by registering the FIR against Elvish Yadav under bailable sections, there were attempts to cover up the incident. He also claimed that initially he only got an injury to his upper lip after the thrashing, but was feeling pain in his neck and spine now as well.

“I was brutally attacked and assaulted by Elvish Yadav, who openly issued death threats to me. All the evidence is available on the internet. But when I went to the police station to file an FIR, the SHO lodged it under IPC 147, 149, 323, and 506. Unfortunately, these are bailable sections, and despite clear evidence of an attempt to murder, no non-bailable charges were included,” Sagar Thakur tweeted.
He asked why murder charges were not included in the FIR, and questioned if the decision was influenced by “money and support” from the Haryana government.
“Is the Haryana government potentially protecting a criminal?” he tweeted.
The YouTuber, in the fresh video, requested Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Gurugram Police to register an FIR against Elvish Yadav with a non-bailable section for attempt to murder and arrest the Big Boss OTT 2 winner.
Thakur also claimed that Elvish Yadav is a bad influence to India’s youth as he promotes violence, and added that if he is not arrested, then Indian laws “would be defeated”.
“If anything unfortunate happens to me in the future, Elvish Yadav should be held accountable,” Thakur tweeted.
WHAT CAUSED THE INCIDENT?
A social media war erupted between Sagar Thakur and Elvish Yadav after the former mocked the Big Boss OTT 2 winner, terming him a “hypocrite” following a picture of Yadav warming up to Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui in a cricket match, surfaced on social media.
Yadav, a vocal Hindutva supporter, was criticised by his followers for the picture with Munawar, who was arrested in 2021 for alleged “indecent” remarks about Hindu deities.
After that, the two met in Gurugram at 12.30 am, and at around 2 am, Sagar Thakur shared a video on social media, claiming he was beaten up by Elvish Yadav and 8–10 men. He later shared a video wherein the Big Boss OTT 2 winner and his accomplices could be seen entering a garments shop and thrashing Sagar Thakur.
