The parents of the late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, are expecting a child, sources in the family reportedly confirmed. Reports claimed this week that Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, is pregnant and will be delivering the baby in March. Moosewala was the only child of his parents, who are in their late 50s now.

Moosewala’s untimely demise occurred on May 29, 2022. Satwinder Singh, also known as Satinderjit Singh or Goldy Brar, has taken responsibility for the murder of the renowned singer in Punjab. Brar is reportedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav stated that Mandeep Singh allegedly provided hideouts to individuals involved in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder and assisted Gangster Deepak Tinu’s escape in 2017.
In August 2022, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) initiated a case against the organized crime syndicate led by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates under the UA(P)A. Investigations conducted by the agency revealed that the gang had established mafia-style criminal networks in multiple states across the country.
